My husband and I have lived here since November 2008 (I am writing this August 2009). We have loved living here. Maintenance has been very responsive to the few requests that we have had to put in. The grounds are very well kept - landscaping is here like clockwork every Monday. We have had very few noise problems. I love having access to a gas grill, and I see them out cleaning them every week. Even though we live very close to the Loop 101, the noise from the road is minimal, and I love how quickly we can get on the freeway to get to where we want to go. Arrowhead Mall is very close by, as well as about a billion restaurants. We have plenty of storage space, and I like the open floor plan. I feel very safe living here. The office staff has always been very courteous and responsive. The fitness center is always clean, and the equipment is kept in working order. I love having a washer and dryer in my unit, as well as a large roman tub.

In reading some of the negative reviews, it sounds like some people were upset about management enforcing the apartment policies. I'm very grateful that those individuals moved out! Having the staff enforce the policies is what makes this complex an enjoyable place to live. I have seen first-hand what happens to a complex when the management only exists to sit in the front office and collect rent checks. The last complex I lived in turned into an absolute drug and crime-infested dump when it was sold to an overseas management company.

I couldn't agree with you more. This place is wonderful. The negative reviews are just people who are angry for breaking the rules and getting fined or evicted or people who've never actually lived in a crappy apartment complex. The last complex I lived in was disgusting with mold/mildew problems, litterbugs and such horrible insulation that despite the fact that my husband and I don't smoke, all of our clothes and furniture reeked of it from our neighbors smoking. All the people that lived around us were inconsiderate, rude and unfriendly. Three days after we moved out, someone was murdered less than 200 feet from our old unit Since then there have been issues with peoples' rent checks "going missing" and the staff being brought up on drug charges. Arrowhead Summit is a safe place, with professional office staff that actually do their jobs, and people have the nerve to get mad at them over that. So to all of you complainers, why don't you go move into Villas at Cave Creek, Granite Bay or Avalon Hills. Those places might be just what you need to gain some perspective, since they steal rent checks, don't take care of the grounds, don't regulate their tenants and have astronomical crime rates.
