Positive:
Apartment complex is now gated, and this seems to improve the complex atmosphere a lot. Check the Glendale police report if you dont believe me, 2003 crime rate at Country Gables is much much lower than the other apartments in the neighborhood (Suncreek, Sagewood, Greentree).

Negative:
Noise problem remains the same, since this is a "student" apartment, it all depends on who your neighbours are. Management has definitely worked on trying to make the facility a better place to live. Nevertheless, more improvements can be made. Maintenance is still not doing its job properly - dead streetlightings etc often takes a while to take care of. The fact remains that this is a 'low-income' community, and management needs to filter out more of these people that rents the apartment.
