This is realy a hard thing to do, to leave a bad review for someone or a business. But sometimes things are so bad one should. Do not take an apartment here, for many reasons. I am a Thuderbird student here in Glendale and I made a mistake of signing a lease with these people. Your problems will start from day one.
At first the managment is relativly nice to you , to lure you in taking one of these closets. I tell you for the same amount of money you can live in a better apartment around here, and hasle free. Country gables is the smallest of all these apatment complexes around campus, older and uglier. Go to Green Tree if you can or SunCreek.
Once you are signed in and trapped into an agreement, after a few weeks you start to notice the changes in the managements attitude towards you. They issue fines and fees left and right. For dumpster dumpings, leaving your stuff out, having a cat or even being seen petting one in public!
Forget about the time you want to move out, they come up with a list of dozens of damages and discrepencies you have done to their precious apartment to keep your security deposit. Most of their apliances are from the 80s anyhow, but they just could use the extra cash. Soon you stop going to the management office to even pay you rent to avoid their dirty looks and comments, bad vibe.
There is securty guard who is more of threat to the residents and a public safty. He thinks residents here are to get him, he walks around with a loaded gun and every now and then even points it out to people's faces. Once I witness him bust a student party here, he had called a the cops and everything to stop a few graduete students on a friday night patio party. Well students need to have a few parties on weekends, this is just the fact of life and these people dont seem to realize this.
Forget about sleeping on wednesday mornings for their maintenace guy likes to strat cutting grass real early in the moring around 530 or 6 am so he finishes early , now it does not matter how many people he wakes up with his loud blower.
In conclusion, hell would be a lot better place than Country Gables in Glendale AZ.

Students can have parties as long as it doesn't infere with others peace. I do not lIke to hear music blasting all night, and hear drunk people being loud and stupid. Go to a bar or get a house if you want to party.
