Not perfect but I was happy

Years at this apartment: 2002 - 2004
After being treated poorly at the Sage Stone office, I was pleasantly suprised to be treated so well at the Isle apartments.
The Good:
The price is very reasonable particularly for the location you are in. San Lagos, San Prado and SageStone are much more expensive. The location is great at the 101 and 67th crossing with plenty of grocery stores, restaurants, movie rental places nearby. You are in the heart of the nice part of Arrowhead but are not paying outrageous costs. My apartment was located in front of a pond so I had a beautiful view in the morning. The service was excellent. I liked how real people worked in the front office instead of the fake and incompetent pretty girls that frequent the Mark-Taylor apartments. The maintenance was quick to fix problems and never gave you attitude for complaining about broken items.
The Bad
The apartments are older and that can be felt. The finishings are old. There is mildew stains in the bathroom. I had a leak on my ceiling during a rain fall. Also, the place is not tech friendly. There are not many outlets for internet and cable hooks ups in the bedrooms so there is little flexibility with moving furniture around. The patios are pretty dirty and not enclosed well. And I had problems with crickets and bugs on the first floor. Some of the residents are kind of poor so there are not many professionals and graduate students in this complex. I never spoke to any of my neighbors nor could I relate to many of them. I didn't feel safe at times as there were odd people walking around and it would freak me out.
