So sad to leave!

This was the first apartment I've ever rented. The Isle and its staff made my transition into living alone a very easy one as a young woman going to grad school. The maintenance guys are super nice and go out of their way to take care of any problems that may arise. I felt safe living there and it was very quiet. On the other hand, a friend of mine lives on the other side of the complex, and her area is very noisy (kids playing, loud music, neighbors yelling, etc.), so that is subjective to where in the complex you live. The grounds are kept very clean (landscapers come once a week), there are always open parking spaces if you have guests, and the people living in the community are very friendly. They accept packages for you in the office, there are several good hiking/biking trails nearby, and the location is ideal for access to grocery stores, the 101, the Post Office, etc.
I absolutely recommend The Isle, especially after hearing what my classmates have to say about some of the other apartments in the area! I am only leaving because I found a cheaper place.
The cons: found seven scorpions in my apartment in the ten months I lived there; gated community, but the gates would often be open in the middle of the night and the side gates for pedestrian use were usually unlocked
