I lived here for a year and I don't think it's worth the money ($1000/month). I lived on the north side of the complex thinking that it's far from the freeway and less noisy, but there are usually 4 or 5 kids running around in scooters unsupervised everyday for the last 2 months that are way noisier. There was a break-in and about 7 or 8 cars got broken into last week on the same day and five cops showed up to investigate, but if your car isn't a BMW or 350Z, you are safe. The apartment itself is okay, I do like the layout. But there are a lot of irresponsible dog owners that don't clean after their pets, and you will see it once you move in. Look at the review in 2004 and it's the same as mine, that's because not much has changed. The staff is cool but they could work harder for you, and maintenance crew is fast and from what I noticed, cared about their jobs. The areas are well maintained except for the dog waste. For the area, it is like an entry level apartment complex and don't be fooled by the gated entry, it's not that secure.

I completely agree about the pet owners comment. The staff is very polite however we have had few problems with "getting" my requests taken care of. The maintaince crew is decent. There is one gentleman who is amazing!!!

I also agree...one big problem is people that have dogs that are CLEARLY over the height limit/don't pick up after their dogs/let their dogs charge about OFF LEASH. With all the little kids around, I really am afraid a child is going to get bitten due to some irresponsible, lazy owner. Let's keep an eye out and report these creeps, for our safety and the safety of their animals.

I am one of the parents of the "noisy children on scooters"...and sorry if I offend you, but too bad. I would rather my children get physical activity, make friends and use thei imagination than sit like a lump in front of the TV. Don't you remember your childhood adventures? Be thankful they are all good kids and not ------kids that disrespect. I am also one of the owners of the vehicles that was broken into...and again...S**t happens...its life...oh well. You fix it and move on. I LOVE that this complex is full of kids and all the parents and even some singles watch out for eachother and the kids. I feel no less safe living here after the vehicle break-in's than I did prior; only 4 vehicles were broken into here but we were right there with surrounding neighborhoods and surrounding apartment complexes... thankfully ours encountered the least amount of damage per the police officers who took our report. No gated community is ever 100%, but it does help. ANYONE can jump walls or follow someone into any gated community (almost). And to be honest, my car was broken into 2-weeks after moving to arizona, in front of my own home...ON THANKSGIVING NIGHT, no less. We live in the capital of vehicle break-in's and vehicle thieving, sometimes...it will happen. The grounds are overall very nice, the staff has always been kind and helpful...call me bias, but i think it is a great community. You are right though, not everyone ALWAYS follows the rules and certainly a dog mess can be irritating and grose (I am generally not much for animals all together though). It is not a perfect community, but I think it is worth the money. I feel safe, my kids are happy, staff is great, my apartment is pretty nice and so far the people who live here are really nice. :-) I will be sure to remind the kids to me mindful of their surrounding neighbors...but try listening in sometime...their conversations can be rather comical...and who knows... you might just find a bunch of flowers or small bag of rocks as a present. Sounds funny, but some of the kids do that (as a gift) to those they like around here...
