I wish they'd make an addendum to the pet policy here and say NO YIPPY DOGS ALLOWED.

There's a little yippy dog on the second floor in the building across from me and one upstairs over me.

I'm surrounded day and night with yip yip yip yip yip yap yap yap yip yip yip yip yip yip yip yip yip,,,,,yip yip yip.

I have to take sleeping pills to get sleep and then keep a fan blowing in the bedroom to drown out the yips all night.

Mention it to the office and what do you get' People are allowed to have a pet of their choice.

Yeah...and I have a right to peace, quiet and a good nights' sleep.

Since I've lived here, I've had one car stolen (nothing done about it), my car was vandalized twice, and back in Feb of 2011, twice in ONE WEEK, I had the battery stolen out of my car.

TWICE IN ONE WEEK.

I did some major yelling about it up at the milestone managemet level.

They assured me that security ( that only works three nights a week) will watch my car.

I haven't had any more problems, I'm proud to say.

But, it shouldn't have happened to begin with.

Who can afford to keep buying car batteries just for some low life to steal' I'm not providing for them.

I called the police and they didn't even come put.

The cop just said, " They'll probably just do it again.

Do you know why they do it or how they do it'" I didn't know I had to give tips on crime prevention to the police.

Ok.

I'm getting tired of this.

I'm listening to both yippy dogs going off at the same time.

It's driving me nuts.

Another thing, a lady fell on broken concrete in the sidewalk just outside of our apartment. They painted it orange and put up a cone. That was several months ago. Nothing done since then. But, they've recently put up no parking signs on either side of the buildings so noone can pull a loading truck in when they are moving in or out and you can't drive up and unload your groceries. You have to lug them a mile from your parking space...uphill. The reason for the signs that are in concrete so noone can drive through? They say it's cause some redneck kids keep driving their cars through at 2 and 3 am. So, cause of that, if you need to move furniture, you have to haul it on your back up hill and then upstairs to your apartment. I hope I don't have to move soon. My back can't take it. Oh, They put padlocks on both pools. When asked why, they acted like they didn't know they were there. Several months later, we asked again and they acted surprised they were there, when asked if they would ever come off, they suddenly remembered the pool is closed until May. However, I have seen young kids in the pool by the office swimming in early and mid april. Guess you getin if you know the right people. I like the jacuzzi cause it helps the circulation in my legs. I don't need to parade in my bikini. But, I have to wait til May to have access to the jacuzzi cause it's way too cold in April to get in a heated jacuzzi. I also had my dishwasher checked out. The office staff left me a note saying I was using the wrong soap. I use electrosol dishwasher tablets. She said I should use dishwashing liquid.....in my dishwasher. I saved that note. If I do use dishwashing liquid and the bubbles and suds go all over, I'll show it to them and say I'm just doing as they told me to. I thought dishwasher tablets is what you used in dishwashers. I guess all those commercials are wrong. Other than all this, plus the roaches and the stomping upstairs, I really like it here...oh.....also there are cats everywhere and they keep multiplying. You can't open your window without smelling cat pee or hearing them fighting or loving late at night outside your window. Yet, no one will call animal control on them. But, like I said....for the most part...I like the place.
