I've lived here for about seven months and can't wait to move. The staff (MEB management) are horrible. 99% of the time I go into the office they are crabby old ladies. When I come into the office I am never greeted with a smile, they just ask "What do you want". When I reply "I'm here to pay my rent (on time)" they don't even bat an eye. They act as if I am bothering them from their "hard" work. The thing I hate most about this place is the staff.
As for the apartments, don't get distracted by the model or the pictures on their website. Most of the stuff they show you you will not have in your own apartment. We wanted to rent a one bedroom but they could only show us a two bedroom model. They said "it will be the same if you just but a wall here (to cover the second bedroom)". Not the case. The kitchen in the two bedroom is huuuuuge compared to the one bedroom. We have 3 regular size cabinets for us to put our dishes and food in. There are two little cabinets above the microwave and fridge and a regular sized one under the sink. Thats it! No room for anything. In the model you will see wood floors. Not the case! Crappy laminate floors. The model shows a nice chandelier above the dining room table, not the case! A crappy light bulb thats set into the ceiling. If you want a dishwasher forget it. If I use ours I have to wash them again by hand to get them clean. If you like the carpet in the model don't get your hopes up. The carpet in your apartment is going to be old with stains. The counter tops are peeling off (that's how crappy they are). Oh and if you like to hear your neighbors doing it then move to the Coves at Newport :) I can hear my neighbors having sex, cough, watch TV and vacuum.
Well I think that's it. Hope it helps with your decision
