Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2008
Ok, we lived at these apartments for 2.5 years. We were referred to these apartments from a group because of another apartments in ability to cross reference my name and SSN. So we were looking for a place that would accept misdemeanors. Let me just say there is a reason they don't turn down these types of records... because they are possibly their only clientele. In the time that we lived at these apartments we have had our vehicles broken into, numerous neighbors have had their vehicles egged, or tires slashed. They used to have security over night, and after talking to these gentlemen determined why the security company refuses to work at that complex now. The day we went to move in our carpets had just been cleaned an hour before and was sopping wet when we were trying to move, needless to say we found massive stains when the carpet dried. We had issues with the clothes washer and the dishwasher and when maintenance came to fix them the clothes washer took 5 attempts before one of them realized they never took out the pin that kept the basin from shifting during moving. There were many structure issues as well, huge gashes in cabinetry, linoleum peeling up, huge patchwork in the ceiling from their handymen running cable from the living room to the kitchen mini tv, lights out. But the models do look good don't they'
The management staff goes through waves of good and bad, the 2.5 years we were there they went through 5 maybe even 7 property managers, we only had 1 that was a decent person and of course she is no longer there. The staff tends to ignore you once you are a resident. They have lost our paperwork a few times, as well as rent once, they finally found it in one of the girls' desk drawers. Neighbors are loud throughout the nights. A lot of the residents run out on leases we noticed as well, kinda tells ya what kind of people are drawn to this place. If you choose to move here I wish you much luck and hopefully your experience is much better than ours was but I won't hold my breath.
Oh and if you work past 5 pm and have 2 vehicles in your home good luck finding a place to put it on party nights (Friday/Saturday) along with some of the other nights...
There used to be great landscapers then they stopped with landscaping for about 3 months, in which case they actually were breaking fire codes because they had several large/huge bushes growing up against the building, then they re-hired a new landscaping crew who uses a weed whacker to take shrubs/bushes to their bare branches, you know cause leaves & flowers are the -----.
One time we were having a financial issue (rent was going to be late by 3 days) we ended up paying an additional $200-$250, even though we were communicating (two weeks prior to rent being due, there was a paycheck issue with a job change) with the office and they stated that they would hold the fees. Of course they didn't follow through which we had become used to after that point. If you get any of them to say something GET IT IN WRITING!!!!!!!!!!
