Disappointed

I want to be fair by offering a balanced opinion so I will do my best to discuss the positive and negative with respect. There are many nice things about San Prado. I have enjoyed interacting with the residents. I feel San Prado has done a great job screening residents. I enjoy the location and being close to great restaurants and shopping. I appreciate the small size of the complex. It is easy to navigate and it doesn't take long to drive to your apartment. The car ports are a nice touch and it does provide it with a more personal feel.
But overall my experience has not been positive. These apartments are beautiful on the exterior but the interior is where the problems lay. I have had many things break down. The maintenance staff is slow to repair items. The office staff has been disappointing. I have walked into the office many times and no one is currently present. The manager is usually unvailable. You have to leave her a note and she doesn't usually return calls. I found roaches in my apartment at one point. A car was stolen recently so sometimes it doesn't feel safe. The insulation is poor. My electric bill is nearly twice the amount as my previous apartment which was larger. I will be moving out of these apartments as soon as my lease ends. On top of all of this, the rent is a bit pricey. Before making a decision, speak to actual residents. Take these reviews with a grain of salt. It's not uncommon for apartments to pose as residents and provide themselves with glowing reviews.
