I'm writing because I feel the comments below are extreme and I don't feel that's helps anyone. I also don't like the binary "yes" or "no" regarding whether I recommend this apartment because that depends on your situation. I wouldn't recommend this apartment for those who are trying to get the best deal possible. Quite frankly it's expensive and if you did some research, you could probably find similar apartments that are cheaper. If money is not a concern then I recommend these apartments. They afford one a great deal of privacy, plenty of parking, a great gym, a well kept pool and the landscaping and grounds are immaculate. There are not many college students here which I feel is a plus. So you won't lose your parking spot because your neighbor is having a keg party at 2 AM. There are many young professionals and graduate students that are fun but old enough to be respectful to their neighbors.
I want to now address the others' comments. The carports are nice. It's like a pseudo garage that completely encompasses your car except from the rear. Yes, bigger cars could have trouble but it's not as bad as others imply. If you are not incapacitated, you should be able to park with no trouble. The service could improve but what apartment offers perfect service' Let's be realistic, for most apartment employees, this is not a career. This is a job they are undertaking while finishing school or a means to moving up so forgive them if they are not perfect every time. I found that if you arrive early in the morning, there are several employees present to address your needs immediately and your work order will be finished by the afternoon. If you arrive later, then you can run into trouble because the girls are showing properties and the manager has left for the day so the office can be empty. Regarding bugs, one word "crickets" I haven't had trouble with roaches, spiders, scorpions or anything else. But this is not their fault because there is construction accross the street so even the best sprayed apartments will have crickets. The only thing I agree with is the noise in the mornings. The lawn care is a bit excessive. But I wonder how many of you are actually making an effort to contact the management instead of complaining here. For the most part, they were attentive to peoples needs.
