Wanted to rent here

I came and looked at one of the apartments, but I was told I didn't qualify finacially for the cheaper rent rate. My whole objective was to save some money to buy a house, and the price was the range I was looking for.
The apartment I looked at was nice. It was a two bedroom/one bath model and it had a washer/dryer in it. There was a shady tree in front of the balcony, which I really liked. Another plus is there is a drive-in theater right next to the apartments in case you want to walk and go catch a flick. Or you could probably just sit on the wall and see it; the screen faces the apartments. The apartments are also very close to GCC. The leasing agent was very polite as well. It was hot that day and she gave my husband and I bottled waters, which was very sweet.
The only con was that a majority of the tenants were hispanic, and I doubt I would have fitted in if I lived there. Another con is that the apartments are in a pretty run-down looking area.
I guess if I made less money I would have rented here.
