Our apartment at the Pavillions was OK, but nothing really spectacular. Our floorplan did have a very large, open kitchen and we were impressed with the size of the master bedroom. I don't think we ever really had any maintenance issues. The thermostat was right next to the washer and dryer, which concerned us at first, but the apartment was very energy efficient. I was pregnant with our son at the time, and we kept the apartment at 72 degrees, yet our electric bill never went over $75. The complex is in a great location, close to the 101, but not too noisy with traffic. There was restaurants and shopping nearby. We did have quite a bit of noise from the A/C unit for the building, which was right outside our bedroom window. There was also a lamp post right outside our window which shined right through the blinds throughout the night. We eventually purchased some heavy curtains to hang over the blinds. We couldn't hear any of the downstairs neighbors, but could definetly hear our upstairs neighbors. We expect a certain amount of noise, and I think are quite tolerant, but we did have several issues with our upstairs neighbors toward the end of our lease. Management did issue them a final written warning, but I am not sure how it turned out, as we moved by then. The complex only has one pool, but it was never really crowded. The fitness room is average, but the sauna is quite nice, and I think only once was there a second person in there. The apartment staff was realtively friendly, but I think we just expected more from being in the Arrowhead area. The community is pet friendly, which was important to us, as we had a large dog. Parking for a second car is definetly an issue. We received one covered parking spot, and eventually paid additional for a second covered parking spot, as there was a waiting list for a garage, which ran $75 a month. The gate is also only about 3 feet tall, which doesn't offer much in the way of security. The management changed a month after we moved in, then again just at the end of our lease. I'm thinking of moving there. I liked this review. It was detailed and seemed honest. The gate is still three feet off the ground and when we were there looking, the parking lot was full. I think there was a party going on somewhere. I'm glad to hear about the 75.00 a month electric bill. I had been wondering how much the average utilitys ran there. I wrote to the office and asked questions like that. I never got an answer. Only one pool? For that huge complex? Well, at least it's not crowded. Still seems like a place to call home.

Nah, We lived there 3 years. The maintenance & office staff changes too frequently. Our electric bill was almost $300.00 a month and gas was high for only 2 of us. We had cockroaches upon move-in and the top guy at the main office refused to believe that they could BUT THEY DID. And it IS a noisy place to live. You can rent a house for a little more and you don't have to put up with the upstairs noise. If they still have the clubhouse parties for the community, its a waste of time. CHEAP FOOD and they stand there and watch every bite you put in your mouth. Parking is a nightmare. You will have crickets all over your apt as well. Take my word for it, go somewhere else.
