Close to Luke AFB and the new University of Phoenix stadium which hosted the Super Bowl, the Vineyards Apt. is becoming a victim of urban sprawl. Land speculators has purchased up desert land and built homes around the Vineyards. It's having a negative impact because of increased traffic around the community. Its given that crime is everywhere, but non residents or should I say , " The homeless" or " Dumpster divers" are increasing in numbers. Especially when house hold garbage is dropped off early in the morning and a person pops out with a handfull of goodies from the dumpster it's not a pleasant surprise. The Vineyards has a common style of creature comforts. The pools, laundry, weight rooms are fairly clean and secured. People are pleasant and respectful. There's suppose to be overhead awnings built to protect the cars but the materials are rusting away on the parking lot. So I grade the overall community a "C".
