I moved into an apt here 6 mths ago - when I moved in, the leasing agent did NOT go through a regular walk through with me, did not give me a checklist to fill out - I did report animal odors, carpet damage, and that the whole apt was not truly MOVE IN CLEAN

When I moved OUT, I was put through the wringer on a move out walk through - they even brought in ultra violet light to check for pet stains!! Of course, they found them - along with cigarette burns in the carpet (I don't smoke!) and are going to try to charge ME for replacing the carpet damaged by some previous tenant (who they probably also charged!!).

These people are NOT honest and do not stand by their word!!

I totally agree with their shady move out policies. I made the mistake of not being there when they did the move-out walk-through. I got a letter in the mail saying that I owe them almost $600. I cleaned that apartment perfectly. They tried to say that I owed them money for those worn out carpets. I know for a fact all they do is stain them, so when the next tenant walks on them, the stain comes up and the spots are appear again. Total scam! There's so many better apartment complex's in that area. I learned my lesson to always be there for the walk through because some places have no integrity.
