When i first moved in I moved in a lone with my dog the girl who set me up had me fill out paperwork on a sunday and move in that saturday she never called me to let me know if i was approved and i had to keep calling her to find out if i could get my electricity set up and she finally called me back that friday at 5:00pm and i moved in the next day also i brought my mother with me to the apartments when i looked at them and right away they told me they don't do co-signers i wasn't even looking to have her co-sign and i was really offended because i make more then 3x's the rent but thats besides the point. When i first moved in i didn't really have any problems with the apartments they are really nice they have a home like feeling to it and its one i am proud to show to friends and family i got put into a handicap apartment and i am not handicap so that didn't make sense to me and in the apartment under the sinks in the bathroom and kitchen they have no cabinets so a wheel chair can roll into it and i asked them if they could put temporary doors in so it would look more attractive since i signed a one year lease and they told me no i had to put up a curtain or something so that was annoying other then that no really inside problems except roaches!!! I find them all over the place i called the office and they said no one has complained at all and that it is because i have a dog and they want the dog food which i think is bull i haven't had the problem at any other apartment and so they came and sprayed for free which was nice and now i just find about two dead roaches every morning somewhere in my apartment. Also i walk my dog in the evenings around 9 or so and in the span of 5 minuets one night i saw about 10 roaches crawling out side it was horrible i cant stand it. Also the pet policy is nothing they say nothing less then 25lbs i saw two rottweilers and a boxer the other day and they never leash those big dogs and they poo everywhere and leave huge piles its disgusting. The pool is well kept and they area is nice I did see graffiti on some storage room doors which kinda made me uncomfortable but it was removed about five days later no one ever bothers me or anything i can walk alone at night no one talks to me or anything i see a lot of gangster looking people but they keep to themselves except one night i was with my fiance walking over to the bbq's and there were some ppl walking on the sidewalk and they wouldn't scoot over and neither did my fiance so they bumped into him and then they got really mad and were about to fight but thank god he ended up knowing one of the guys in that crew from his old job who knows what would of happened. Anyway they told us we had to give the numbers off the gate cards and send in a new code and that has been over a month ago and mine still don't work parking is horrible there are never any uncovered spots and ppl park in my spot whenever they feel like it also i have a spot in the back of the apartment i live in but its handicap which makes no sense and then the lady who lives across from me has a spot right in front of our apartments. explain that...... anyway in all honesty i dont have very many problems besideds parking and roaches everyone is nice its quiet and i have no problems : )

I agree that the dog food shouldn't have anything to do with the roaches. I have to small dogs and my fiancee leaves the dog food bag open and we've never had roaches. I do see a lot of roaches at night when I walk my dogs as well but never in my apartment yet, which is good.

you need to argue that they pay to move you to another apartment. They can't keep you in a handicap apartment if you don;t want to be there. If they don't move you you should fight and make them pay for your move elsewhere.
