HORRIBLE: Complex manager, have fun replying to this one!

MESSAGE TO THE MANAGER: Every tenant that has lived at your horrible complex and has taken time to write about you knows that the only good reviews you have on this site are simply your rebuttals. Well, have fun with this one. I can only hope that one day the owner will get a hold of this and fire you on the spot. It doesn't take a genious to figure out how conniving you are.
FOR ANYBODY INTERESTED: UNLESS YOU WANT TO WALK INTO AN OFFICE TO BE GREATED (NOT REALLY) BY A BLOND, NAPPY HAIRED, COMPLETELY UNPLEASANT, AND INCOMPETENT WOMAN WHO HATES HER JOB, DON'T CHOOSE THIS APARTMENT COMPLEX. S*****Y (This site doesn't recommend giving out name), the complex manager, is the last person on the staff that should call the shots. Some of the staff can be approachable on a really good day, but avoid S****y at all costs. If you are reading this, consider yourself warned. First, impressions are deceiving. Here is why.
COST: the apartments look really nice and gated, which makes one think that they are spending a little extra for security and luxury. NOT THE CASE.
GATED: this never once made me feel safe, considering my truck was broken into twice. One incident happened over a weekend, and nobody contacted me (my cell phone was the main contact number given to the complex) to let me know that my truck
had been broken into. So it sat invitingly the rest of the weekend with a busted out window and glass everywhere. There was no security whatsoever that checked out the premises.
RENEWAL INCENTIVES: Most apartments offer incentives to good tenants who are looking to extend their stay. THIS COMPLEX OFFERS NONE. Instead, you get a little notice on your door notifying you that if you want to stay longer you must pay an extra $50 a month. NICE TOUCH S****Y. Next time, just knock and let me know I have overstayed my welcome.
PETS WELCOMED: NOT REALLY. First you pay a pet deposit. Then you pay pet rent. Then you move into an apartment with bad carpet already and you fill out the move-in sheet and notify them of such conditions in an attempt to save yourself of future costs. (by bad carpet, I mean stains, frays, poor seams, random areas cut from the closets and replaced with small pieces of different colored carpet). LASTLY, you get a huge bill after you move out that says "pet stains". WELL, WHAT DID YOU EXPECT. WE TOLD YOU THERE WERE STAINS WHEN WE MOVED. JUST BAN PETS, ITS EASIER FOR EVERYBODY.
POOL AND SPA: Pool is good, but don't turn on the jets in the jacuzzi! I can't even put into words how annoying this is. If I could actually explain the horrible phenomenon that one experiences after attempting to relax in this jacuzzi with the jets on, I would. You will just have to take my word for it. Just don't expect a nice and controlled stream of bubbles.
ALSO: Avoid the parking lot in the event of a flood. Instead of pumping the water out of the parking lot, you have to build a moat to your vehicle door. Unless you want to wade through a foot of water.
DID I MENTION...DON'T MOVE HERE! YOU WILL HATE IT. SPEND THE SAME AMOUNT OF MONEY FOR REAL SECURITY AND LUXURY AND A STAFF THAT REALIZES THAT GOOD TENANTS ARE THE ONLY REASON THEY HAVE A JOB!

Actually, my review was genuine. Just search for my user-name... and you'll see that I'm happy to rail on any complex that sucks. I've no doubt that this place has gone to crap since I lived there 6 years ago, but try to be objective in your reviews. Opening your review by calling someone a "BLOND NAPPY-HAIRED" yadda yadda only serves to destroy your credibility.

I ALSO HAVE LIVED THERE AND WAS UNHAPPY AS WELL. INSTEAD OF GETTING AN INCENTIVE TO STAY I HAD TO PAY MORE MONEY AND WAS FORCED TO MOVE SINCE MY LEASE WAS UP AND THE RENT WOULD BE GOING UP. NOW I AM LOOKING FOR A NEW APARTMENT AFTER LIVING WITH A ROOMATE FOR A LITTLE WHILE AND I WILL NOT RECOMEND OR GO BACK TO THIS PLACE. I THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY ONE WHO FELT THIS WAY ABOUT THIS COMPLEX, GLAD TO KNOW I WAS NOT THE ONLY UNHAPPY RESIDENT.

I totally agree with the pet / carpet thing. You WILL get stiffed with a big bill at move-out, and not just for carpeting. The longer you stay, the higher your "damages" bill will be. These people haven't the first clue what normal wear-and-tear means.
