Moved in September of 2006. Had 2 cats. Since I moved in after the 20th of the month I had to pay the prorated amount of rent for the current month, next months rent, security deposits, pet deposits and pet rent. Turned out that I had to come up with $2300 on move in day to live there. When I arrived 2 of the four Electric BBQ's did not work. The one outside of my apt had not worked for over a year according to my neighbors. Submitted work orders for almost 2 months to get those fixed. Actually had to meet with the apt manager to get the grills fixed. Noticed a discoloration on the ceiling of my bedroom shortly after moving in, notified the management. Maintenance came out, poked a hole in the ceiling and left. Another 4 weeks to get that sealed and painted over. Couldn't use the ceiling fan in the bedroom either. It had developed a squeak and even thought maintenance came by to look at it twice, it took another month for them to replace the fan. No bear in mind I signed a 6 month lease and this is what I put up with. Even thought they preach that they love their residents, I didn't feel that way. The only good thing I found here that I had no trouble finding a parking spot when I got home. You are not assigned a covered spot so the covered parking is first come first serve. It was another $50 a month for a second covered spot or $125 for a garage. Add that to the fact that my apt overlooks the pool and there is another up-charge because of the "View." So $900 a month for a 1 bd/ba apt with 2 cats and a "View" seems a little over the top for a 683sqft apt. That was the smallest apt they had.
