Alta Place

 

Alta Place seemed very nice when we moved in, the price was right and the apartment was spacious, but after living there for a few months the whole management staff was fired.

The next set treated us like scum.

They acted like because we were only 19 years old that we could be taken advantage of.

When our water heater stopped working they had the nerve to say that the place was old and somethings were not going to work so well.

The water heater only produced about 2 minutes of hot water at a time, I dont know about you, but Id say thats broken.

They did everything they could to avoid getting a new one until finally we told them if they didnt we were going to call 3 On Your Side.

The next thing that went wrong was our air conditioning stopped working.

The first time this happened(it happened 3 times) it took them two weeks to fix, we had to stay at a friends house because it was 110 degrees inside mine.

When I asked the manager to pro-rate my rent for the time that we had to stay away she looked at me like I was crazy and told me they dont do that.

I had to come back with a print-out from my computer stateing that because it is their job to meet the standards of living (Providing hot water, air conditioning, etc.)that she had to pro-rate it.

One should not have to go through these kinds of things just to get hot water and cold air.

Many other things happened to us while we lived there including having to pull teeth to get a bath tub crack fixed, the only thing that got them to replace it was that it flooded into the downtairs apartment causing all kinds of damage.

Please, unless you like being treated like garbage, dont move in to Alta Place.
