i have lived in this apt for about 2 months and have had nothing but problems. my company placed me here and they have informed me that they will no longer house their employees here due to the problems. first of all, the pool is not only freezing cold, they never seem to clean it. i have been to it many times only to see an oily residue on the surface and plenty of leaves and junk in it. i have NEVER seen anyone testing the chemicals or doing any kind of pool maintenance while here. they don't enforce any pet rules, such as letting your dogs run off leash and people letting their cats on and off the balcony at their leisure. i walked out to find a cat on top of a vehicle in our parking lot. when this was mentioned to office staff, they said that they were strays and there was nothing they could do about it. this is an outright lie as i have seen the same cats inside my neighbor's windows. we also mentioned that one of the garbages in a common area was overflowing, which was just an FYI for them, their response was that they don't take care of that. when we requested repair/maintenance for our dishwasher because you had to wash dishes 3 times and then there was still food stuck to the dishes, they said that we should wash the dishes first and use different detergent. the appliances are very old and needed serious repair or replacement. when we questioned their response about washing the dishes, they called and reported to my company that we were rude. there is always garbage lying around. i saw the same beer bottle out in a common area for at least a week. people throw pop cans and garbage around and no one does a thing. the assigned parking is nowhere near your apartment. they say that the spots are pre-numbered and they can't change them, why not'' I see people who are in buildings in different lots coming to our carport to get their car. we are not the only ones who have to park down a few lots. overall, this has been the worst experience i ever had in an apartment. i am completely disgusted with this complex and i have stayed in many many apartments due to my job. i am counting the days until i get to leave this apartment (which is 29).

Thank you for your review. You may just have helped many avoid the same problems you've had. I am waiting to get out of a similar place now and would hate to end up at another with similar issues.

The garbage is the sanatation department's problem so you should have called the city. there are such things as stray cats that do not have owners, beware these homless creatures have no respect for cars, and i heard somewher that there are cats that look the exact same so maybe it wasnt your neihbors cat on your car. I like the apartments, the management was very helpful and its very clean i didnt see one nomadic beer bottle the whole time there. I just hope they have taken care of the pool, because i hate getting into a pool that isnt heated when it is one of those 110 degrees out, or in the dead of winter.

I've been here for over 2 years and have seen maybe 3 stray cats the whole time. I have not once seen a dog running around off the leash ever! I think its funny the portrayal of cortona as full of trash and stray cats everywhere!! That is ridiculous they keep very clean grounds and there simply are not cats & dogs running all over. Also I was just in the pool last week and it was very clean. I will say the appliances are older yes. But mine all work fine including the dishwasher. Does it work as good as a brand new one maybe not. But it gets mine clean. As far as parking i can only speak for myself but my reserved spot is right in front of my apartment!! Also they have so many non-reserved spots there is always plenty of spaces to park near any apartment if needed.
