Do NOT rent here whatever you do!!
I thought I lived in the gheto before. This place is horrible! I have people doing and selling drugs two apartments away from me. They smoke and you can smell it through the air vents. Since I've moved in my neighbor's apt has been broken into (in broad daylight!) their stuff was trashed and there door was broken down and not replaced for 2 months! I had the air conditioning go out so that it was 101* in my apartment. I have had my air vent LEAK water onto the carpet, then they said they fixed it but it still leaked and they said they fixed it again and it still leaked. Same with my toilet and it kept running. They went once said they replaced the stopper, still wasn't working, so they came out again and said they replaced the stopper and said that it hadn't been replaced last time and said that it was finally fixed. The asst manager there is a BiOch. I think they replaced her finally but she was NOT kind. The other lady's have been kind and helpful but I do not feel secure living here. My car was recently broken into and the stereo and dash were torn out. I had to have the police take prints and blood and when I asked the management who I report the break-in to at their office they said just the police. I understand that there's nothing they can do about it, but aren't they supposed to keep record of what is happening on their property'' The buildings are also next to low income housing which has the Mexican Band-stand playing every weekend. I really have nothing against anyone or any race, but SERIOUSLY NO ONE wants to hear your music playing for 6 hours!!!!!! I don't care who you are!

I'm trying to break my lease at the moment but it'll cost me aprox $2,500 to do so! I think I'm screwed unless I can find a way out.

RENTERS BEWARE!! The cost is too high for what is there. The property is not well maintained and the laundry is $1 wash and $1 to dry. I do NOT feel secure here and the people are CREEPY!

I agree, Crestwood is terrible. There is drug activity that Ive seen myself, cops here almost every night, lots of yelling and noise, and domestic fights. Lighting outside used to be good, but most are burned out now and they won't fix them, so it isn't secure. There is no security patrol, even though they say there is, just try calling and asking for them, they dont answer the phone according to the 24-hour phone number. The laundry room is filthy and has gone up to $1.30 for wash, and I forget the exact amount, but its more than $1 for dry. This is a very bad place to live.
