Management sucks

If you want to live in a place where management cares about what happens to you, your family, and your personal property, don't go near the Del Coronado Apartments. Families are relagated to the back as if it's the projects where it's not just undermaintained, but zero-maintained, with broken lights, holes, and dead birds left for weeks, etc., while the front is kept beautiful for unsuspecting prospective tenants. Then when you have a maintainance emergency you are treated as if you are to blame, even if the walls are caving in. Management is often argumentative with tenants whenever concerns are brought up. If you report a noise problem like the late night pot party or fights upstairs, you are punished with a notice about a some irrelavent item, such as a less than pristeen lawn chair on your porch. The lock on the pool in the back has been broken for over 3 years, and children are able to access the pool by simply lifting up on the bottom of the lock. Complaints to management about the safety of this problem has yet to be dealt with. Just last week a 3 year old was found in the pool area running around while maintaince had the gate wide open, and other small children where playing in the area, When a drowning happens...and it will, I will be the first to say criminal charges should be brought against management, as they have been advised numerous times of the problems.
