my apartment burned down!!
From: -Anonymous-Date posted: 8/10/2006
Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2004
i had lived there for about 3 motnhs before the apartment next to mine, which was empty, had started smelling like smoke. we called the fire department, they had come out and said someone left plastic on the stove. the staff admitted to doing this "by accident". less then a month later the apartment below us had actually caught fire, and set our apartment on fire, and the apartment diagnol to us on fire. the fire inspector wasn't sure how it happened, and had to investigate. we weren't allowed back into the apartment to get our things, by order of the fire inspector. when we were finally let back in, days later, we found that our front door was wide open. the manager said the fire inspector had just been there, but when we called him, he hadn't been there for four hours. because our apartment burned down the manager (sorry i forget her name) ended our lease with no extra costs, nice of her right' until i get a letter in the mail a little bit later saying that i'm being charged over 400 dollars for holding fees. i couldn't get back into my apartment on the insectors orders, and now i'm being charged holding fees' especially after i was told i wouldn't owe a thing' this was sincerely the worst apartment i have lived in, and i've lived in some bad ones. if you are thinking about living here, please take this heed and don't. the staff was absolutely horrible, took forever to fix things, and when two fires "accidently" happen in about a month, you know something fishy is going on.
