I have lived here for three years now & it is pretty bad!! originally i just ignored it because it was so cheap that i felt like i got what i paid for, but since ive lived here my rent has gone up over $100. The property is old & not well maintained, the exercise room is a joke- everything broken & u have to check a key out, daily, at the office. there is a huge pigeon problem & the office refuses to have the bird poop cleaned off the steps & handrails- one time i called & they told me that i should clean it myself!!! i have called the management company many times & emailed them & they have NEVER returned my calls!! i stuck it out because it was cheap & close to school, but i am looking for a new place!!!

Who breaks the fitness center?? What's a joke is the people who break it. I'm sure the resident's who live there or their guest. Wouldn't it make sense for residents to care about where they live and take care of things. Instead, no things always seem to be trashed from the people who live in the community.
Pigeons, birds, isn't that part of nature. What should management do about birds?
Thank goodness you are looking for a new place to live.

in reponse to your nasty response: i have lived here for several years, i am a good tenant, no late rent, no loud noises, very responsible....i certainly didnt break the exercise room & while you are right that it may have been broken by some other less-responsible tenants, it is the management's job to replace/fix the equipment. likewise i do not expect the management to get rid of the pigeons, they are afterall, as you pointed out, a part of nature, but i do expect the managemnet to clean up excessive messes made by the birds.
