This is a really beautiful complex, with spacious floorplans, and what was once reasonable pricing.

The management has always been a little shady, they've been gradually hiking the prices for several years.

I moved from a one bedroom to a two bedroom unit, and the management "forgot" to reserve my new unit while renting the old one out from under me.

They finally agreed to let me move into a unit which came available after another month, making the people who were waiting for my old one bedroom unit wait some more.

The 2 bedroom unit I ended up in was OK, except it had apparently been abused quite a bit by the prevoius tenants.

The sinks and countertops were chipped and scratched, and several of the built in shelving pieces (which are in the other identical floorplans) had been ripped out and sloppily painted over.

The dishwasher leaks onto the kitchen floor and you can't turn the power saver function off, and the clothes dryer needs to be run 3-4 times to dry a load of laundry, even after numerous visits from "maintenance".

The kitchen faucet is loose, the gaskets holding it down under the countertop have long since rotted away, but the "maintenance" people flatly refuse to fix this.

Weevils, ants, and silverfish are common.

Outdoor lighting fixtures are often broken.

Flocks of pigeons defecate on our patios and front steps and management refuses to do anything.

And now, they have begun to replace the lush, park like landscaping, which was one of the truly beautiful things about the complex, with...

well, a gravel pit.

And no, it's not nice, professional-looking "desert landscaping".

This is just ugly.

I'll be happy to move out of here when my lease is up.

Though I miss the beautiful, low-priced community it once was.

I'll know better than to ever do business with IMT again.
