Truth about Del Cornado From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 7/15/2008 Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2008   If you have moved already to this complex please disregard what you will read because you are already stuck. I will go over some major points one should consider before moving to an apartment. 1- Safety: I lived in this complex for one year and I witnessed fire shootings across the street two times in a month! Mesa police hilicopter is all over the complex almost every single day (usually midnights). Last Christmas half of the mail boxes were broken and stolen. The police cars are always there after midnight with their flashing lights on! The neighbourhood is better seen before you move( I won't comment on that.) 2- Location: Close to Target, food city, a mall and other points of interest. 3- Management staff: I got the sense that they are given bounces for being rude. They are all bad except a lady called Sherry.. She is the only nice person in the office... The only guy in the office is a pain in the neck! and you wouldn't like to even say hi to his boss " Tamron I guess". 4-Other issues: For a 1 br I paid 685 plus water ($20) and now I think it is not worth it... I lived near the office and they washed the walkway almost every day.. The swiming pool looks beautiful but I will never go swiming there because of what I always see.... No cleaning and people drop chairs and other stuff in it... I noticed that the maintencance guy would only come early morning to take out stuff .. I wonder if they do any filterring! If your fridge id old and needs maintenance you are stuck with it and you have to live with it the way it is .. when walking in night watch your steps for smashed beer bottles... My experience in this complex was a nightmare.. I moved out before my lease ended and I kept it empty for 3 months that I paid for hoping that someone would come and rent it.. it's all the management staff's fault... They love money more than themselves.. I have no issues with money but I will never live in such a plce even if the rent was only 500... I am not from this country and I never posted any review before.. but I am doing so now because I found this rating site very helful.. I got the apartment I wanted now.. 3mPoZ6gGN6wTPgNi4L2C
