Cheap. Not a palace...

I lived here for about 18 months in an effort to save money. The location is very close to 8th Ave. and is not the greatest neighborhood. Pretty much everybody there lives alone because most of the apts are studio/1 bedrooms. The office staff was always very nice and the maintainance guys were cool and fixed things if they needed to and did a nice job. There is no covered parking, or even designated parking. They seemed to have issues keeping a security patrol employed as it was a differnt person all the time.
The apartments themselves are not big, and definately not luxurious. No dishwasher, no pantry, no W/D. The walls are cement block. This means you are up for a challenge if you'd like to hang anything for decoration, but not much noise from the neighbors. I haven't a clue on the insulation because the utilities are included, so I never saw a bill.
All in all, good for my purpose which was to conserve $. Around 600/mo including utilities. Perfect for students / minimalists.
