Emerald Apartments

As two broke college students this complex was perfect for us. The rent is cheap so you can't expect the place to be luxurious. The walls are cement, which helps keep the noise down.. but the windows and front doors are thin so we can hear everything from outside. You learn to sleep through it. Maintenance helped us make holes to hang pictures.
The security guy is around, but he just hangs out with my druggy nextdoor neighbors,rarely walking around.
There's no laundry in the units, but there is a laundry room. I've never had laundry stolen, but I always keep right on top of it. They do a good job on keeping the machines running well... one time someone had put gum in the dryer and ruined my load. (My fault for not checking first.)
We've never had problems with our cars, but we do have alarms with flashing LED lights.
Overall you get what you pay for. We're in a studio for $480 a month. No bugs, no dishwasher, no laundry hook-ups, really clean landscaping, newer appliances, free utilities(even though we control out own AC!), GREAT STAFF!!!Plus when we moved in they gave us $300 in free rent to use whenever we wanted, plus one month free.
This is an good place for people in college or just starting out.
