Where to start? Well first off I think its awsome one of the other reviews mentioned the crazy guy who walks around picking up nothing all day and night long. He is harmless and is probably the reason the grounds are trash free. There are alot of ------ birds mostly
pigeons that wander around looking -------- all day. Three of them were dead yesterday laying on the ground about 15 feet from each other. There were some 12 year old kids in that same area so I would guess that the kids took them out or they died of being to -------- to go on.
When you move in you sign a waiver about the high crime area and they do not guarantee your safty while staying here. Then you sign a waiver that says the apartment was painted with lead based paint(its a pretty old place). Its pretty safe during the day. At night there seems to be alot of homeless people, alot of getto people screaming about "my babies daddy".
There are some gang bangers and the cops show
up weekly to haul some one off. (Mesa Cops are the worst) There are 'some' bugs and the apartment people are a little crabby. They pretend to be happy most of the time.
They do not take packages at the office. I get alot of stuff from UPS and end up always have to go to their DC which is quite a ways off.
Most people that live here are old or college kids and a few crazies.
I have seen a guy arrested for making posion to kill people with, an apartment almost burn down, and one tenant towed another tenants car with his van because he wanted his parking place. All while living here.
As far as the good points:
You only have to sign a 6 month lease and then for a little more you can go month to month.
Rent is cheap and water, sewer, trash and electricity are all inculded.
It has 2 pools and 2 laundry rooms.
Its a stones throw to MCC and it is very possible to not own a car while living here.(I didnt for the first 6 months)
They allow pets. (I have a very large dog)
There are grassy areas around the pools.
There is a ton of parking all unasignied.

I lived there from 2002 until 2004. Bill's right about the crime. I got mugged one night in front of the Tokyo Express. On another night, the Mesa cops harassed for no good reason. Other than than, I was fairly happy with my stay there. The management staff is excellent. The concrete building structure helps reduce noise. If you're lucky, you'll land next to some quiet neighbors. However, don't live there if you can afford something better.
