My husband and I have been looking for apartments where the monthly rent is less than where we currently are. I toured with a friend and was told if I came back that day with a money order for 150$. I didn't want to make a decision without my husband, so I told them not possible we'd probably be back Saturday (This was Thursday January 8th). My husband and I returned Saturday the 10th and picked up an application. We were told at that time we would receive March free. A week later, today January 17th, we returned with our application and one of the leasing agents said it'd cost us to move in for the last week of Feb. At that point I didn't understand why they just wouldn't give us a free week, whoopie. She came back and told us we wouldn't get March free that was only for the same day rental. We were so excited about the locatin, the gym so close, everything...it just didn't pan out. My friend said her cousin lived there and the place flooded and there were maintenance issues....I didn't want to believe her, but after reading these reviews, I should have. PS we were looking at the townhomes.
