i am so glad that my lease is up...at one point i actually contacted a lawyer to suit this place...i moved in summer 05-
1.
my ac broke 2 days later.
they had to order a new unit and because of a holiday, it would be 5 days before i could get a new one.
they brought in a temporary one that part of it had to sit in a window...meaning i had to leave my window open all the time just so we wouldnt die of heat exaustion.
we had to sleep in the living room since that was the only room that stayed somewhat cool.
2.
a few weeks later, my refrigerator broke, while i was gone and all my food went bad.
when i called, they had someone come look and it was supposedly fixed, 2 days later, it broke again, spoiling all my food a second time.
it wasnt until then that they replaced it...3 days later!!! when i asked management if i could be reimbursed, he literrally laughed and basically told me that i needed to stop complaining or they wouldnt get me a new fridge! i was in tears from the way he spoke to me...
3.
the ROACHES...wow they have been the biggest issue.
i can probably guess that i have seen over 100.
there was a problem in the building and when they were to come to spray, there was always an excuse as to why it wasnt done.
there were a few units in the building that had no complaints and when there was a mandatory microgen and their units were entered, SUPRISE!!! thats where the problems were! people like living with them i guess! GROSS
4.
multiple issues with rent, almost evicted twice due to office errors.
5.
water damage in apartments,
6.old cabinets with holes, inviting roaches.
7.holes in walls poorly fixed.
8.
ac unit is so loud it shakes wpictures on walls.
overall i have never been so unhappy anywhere else.
i have literally been in tears because of the problems here and now we have new management,,,which is SO much better than the old.
they have put a lot of money into the property but it is only cosmetic.
now they look nice but when you live INSIDE, its a hell hole.
i will NEVER let anyone i know live here..as much as i can help it anyway.
the price is what got me here and let me just say i agree with the saying "you get what you pay for"
