My wife and I have lived here 2 years in a 1-bedroom. When we moved in, it was because this was the absolute cheapest apartment within 10 miles of here, and we were starving college students. The apartments were dirty, bug-infested, and falling apart. The neighbors were noisy and left garbage lying around all over the place. I never let my wife leave the apartment after dark, and installed extra locks and electronic alarms on the windows and front door. Two management companies later, the apartment grounds are cleaner, many of the units are newly remodeled, and the new manager Tina, has a no-tolerance policy for breaking complex rules. I made a complaint about a noisy neighbor leaving broken beer bottles all over the balcony, and she personally was over the next day to tell them to clean up, quiet down, or get out within 10 days. Months later, we hardly hear so much as a peep from that unit. We were planning on moving to another complex, as we have a baby on the way and need a bigger place, but they offered us such a good deal on a 2-bedroom that we decided to sign on again. I wish we had a washer/dryer in the unit, or at least a larger laundry facility, but overall, the grounds are much cleaner and in better repair, the bug problems are gone (haven't seen any in months), the neighbors are quieter, and the management staff is professional and prompt. This is one of the best places you could live in this area for the price, and is definitely what you choose to make of it!
