Things around here are going down fast! No longer do I feel safe. The new tennants seem to have lower standards than when I first moved in over a year ago. There are very large dogs wandering free and bark all through the night and day. People are standing by apt doors and in the parking lot drinking when I come home at night. Cars constantly coming and going with their speakers blasting to the point that my apt actually shakes. Maintenance has taken forever to repair (properly) various things in my apt and I am still waiting for some things to be fixes for over 2 months now. I find myself hurrying to my car and locking myself in as fast as I can because of the people hanging around in the parking lot. You can always hear the neighbors, insulation is definitely missing around here. Unfortunately my lease is not up for some time, but when it is I will be looking for a more secure home.

Dear Valued Resident: Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention. Please know we take all resident's concerns very serious. We have a weight limit of 35 lbs for pets as well as a policy that states dogs must be on a leash at all times so if you are witnessing large dogs wondering on the property it is important you notify the office so we may take the proper actions to remedy the situation. We want you to be happy and it sounds like there are some issues that need to be addressed. In response to who rents at Genoa Lakes, we have rental criteria and every resident must qualify before living here. This includes a credit and criminal background check. Please always inform the Leasing Office of any suspicious activity so that we may address the situation. Our goal is to make Genoa Lakes Apartments enjoyable for everyone. In addition to contacting the Leasing Office, you may contact the Mesa Police Department at their non-emergency number at 480-644-2211. They are also able to help you with any concerns. In regards to your service request, please call the office at your earliest convenience so we can get your request taken care of. Again, thank you for your comments. We hope that we were able to cover all of your concerns. Please remember that you are welcome to talk to the Community Manager, Angela in the Leasing Office if you have any further concerns.
