I fell into the trap of going for a tour of this apartment complex due to the high recommendation and reviews this website gave. While touring, I noticed they give renters a financial perk to give a positive review on this website. It says to write the review with management and they will give you an incentive. They 'lake' is a pond with a water feature and stinks. The apartment I toured had such a strong smoke odor my clothes smelled when I left. The carpet had flood damage and was pulled away from the walls, and the floor and sheet rock were warped also. I ended up renting an apartment, newly renovated with a REAL lakeview for 100.00 less per month.

I would love to know where you're renting as well. My husband and I are looking to rent and we have a young son as well. The places we were considering all seem to have the worse reviews so we're kind of stuck. Any genuine suggestions?
