Madera is a great place, but there are however a few issues that make it not so pleasant. I have lived here approximately 2.5 years and have had several inconsiderate neighbors with blaring music and stomping activity going up stairs and practicing river dance from what i can tell. I'm a very tolerant person until midnight or so. I have made several complaints to the staff with no result finally gave up on it. what a let down. the other issue is the insulation. i can turn off my heat and the temp will drop 15-20 degrees in about the same minutes. Terribly unefficient energy wise. Be prepared to feed the electric company winter or summer. And also I am not for paying rent late, but everyone is human and is late here or there, but the aimco dictatorship allows absolutely no grace period and have applied an amendment to the lease with a $75 dollar charge for late and then a daily fee also till paid. If they cared about there cusomers a little bit more they would make the late charges a little more realistic thats a 1/5 of rent! For these matters I'm looking forward to moving out this year.

Let me guess...you must be one the on-site managers. That figures. All one has to do is look at the place and they can see right through your b.s.
