N A Nightmare! From: nanightmare Date posted: 7/21/2008 Years at this apartment: 2008 - 2008   My Husband and I recently moved into Midtown and the problems started during the walk-through and It took a week and half to get anything done. There was a piece of trim that was broken and shredded on the corner of the breakfast bar that they tried to hold together with scotch tape, the bar counter top was very loose and about to completly fall off, the facet in the wet bar didnt work, there still are no stoppers in the bath tub, the a/c leaked for over a week all day and night, the fridge is STILL leaking red rust. We had a cockroach in our apartment the second day we were there and a dead bird on the steps. The washer and dryer were hooked up wrong so our clothes could only get washed in very hot water causing the colors to run. There were nails poking out of the balcony floor and huge hole with a rusy metal piece behind it. The Apartment manager was pretty rude to me when i tried to tell her for the 9th time everytghing that was wrong. I hate this place they have caused us nothing but headache for two weeks! They shouldnt be able to treat residents this way. If you pay rent late they charge you, y dont residents get to charge for them not holding up their ends. If you get caught lying about your pet they charge you a 250 fine, well how about when they lie to us about when things will get fixed and not calling back' (btw maintance and most other staff have been very nice) My issue is the hostile managment and how they dont care for there residence. I hate this place it has made our lives a living hell. i can't begin to think how much time and missed work this has cost us. Plese dont move into here, save yourself the trouble and move some place managment will create a livable enviorment.
