I moved out in August after a 2 years at Montego Villa's.
I am glad to be out of there.
They don't do what they say.
My car was broken into 4 times in a matter of 3 months.
I liked Jennifer and the other staff but when it went under new management and the new people wanted to raise my rent almost $100 with only a 6 month lease and no perks if I renewed.
I had to move out of there.
I tried to contact the new people when I locked myself out of my apartment but no one ever returned my numberous pages over the 4th of July.
That was 3 days after the new people sent a notice to us telling us they were there and would be handling things from then on.
So I had to climb up to my second story apartment using someone elses patio and get in from my balcony door.
All of which was dangerous to do.
This was because no one returned my page.
The pool's were dirty and green for most of the month of July and the begining of August.
I don't know if what the last person wrote is true or not but I do know that it took me 5 days to get approved to move in and they did do a background and criminal check on me and my wife and we had to sign a "crime free addendum.
before we were given the keys.
I know that there are alot of -------- living there and many of them have more that 6 people in their apartment.
I don't know if they are illegal or not.
I know that at one time there was a basketball net and a tennis court neither of which are there anymmore.
And much of the pool furniture is either broken or rusted out because people would throw them into the pool and leave them there overnight or until someone would go in and get them out.
There are many security lights and breezeway lights that need to be replaced.
And there is a plumbing problem, my apartment got flooded 2 times because of "outside" my apartment issues.
The last time was July 31.
Good luck in finding an apartment.

How do you lock yourself out of your apartment? There is only a deadbolt the door handle is not lockable. . If you lost your keys then say so but dont lie. The plumbing was backed up from someone trying to flush disposable diapers down their toilet and have since stopped. The pools are not green at all they are clear blue. Why do you post anonymously? Most people who are not telling the truth are anonymous posters. The parking lights are all working great and common areas are lit up from numerous light fixtures on all of the buildings. I was not here in July but Im sure that all of your issues could have been discussed with the management company or on site staff. The management is always willing to discuss issues and have them addressed in a timely fashion. I feel that most bad reviews are posted because of your failure to live within the terms of the lease agreement . Have a nice day!!!!

Weather the person lost his keys, locked them in the car or his wife got mad at him and locked him out then left doesn't matter what matters is that he called repeatly many times the emergency page number and none of his calls were returned. So he was "LOCKED OUT" . Why can you not simply address and answer that point why must you condem the writer for? And the pools may well be clean and sparkling now but they were not at the end of July and the begining of Aug. And why post with the real name after what I saw done to another person on this site.
