We COULD NOT WAIT for our lease to be up. The neighbors were a nightmare: loud, rude, 6-8 people crammed into an apartment. They bounded up the stairs like elephants 24 hours a day. Their endless numbers of kids were allowed to play within inches of our ground floor balcony. Literally, inches. And by playing, I mean screaming and throwing rocks, unsupervised, for hours every day. They also had a game where they would throw garbage and empty beer cans from the balcony of our upstairs neighbors, while the kids on the ground would scream "TRICK OR TREAT" at the top of their lungs. Then they would try to catch the thrown garbage in bags. Anything not caught was left on the ground where it landed. I know, it sounds like I am making it up. God, I wish I was.
I wish this was the worst of it. The top floor neighbor had some unidentified pet, whose urine and feces were WASHED DOWN THEIR PATIO DRAINPIPE, ONTO OUR PATIO!!!! We complained three times, and while the office staff was horrified, they did not do anything about it until the third time. However, even then, they did not give them notice to move out as promised. So, while the feces shower eventually stopped, the 47 people crammed into that apartment retaliated, they would curse at us or make sexual comments to my girlfriend in Spanish for the remaining 11 months of our sentence. Also, all neighbors seemed to shed garbage like some people have dandruff. There would be a thick trail of garbage from their cars to their apartments, every single day. I don't understand how the maintenance men put up with it. Of course, the number of roaches and ants we had to deal with no matter how many times we had the place sprayed proved that our neighbors' filthy habits extended into their homes, as well.
About the car situation. We were assigned one spot. People had no qualms whatsoever about parking in our spot, until we made it clear that we would tow without mercy. Also, people had no problem parking right in the center of the road, while they shot up crack in their apartments or whatever the hell they were doing, making it virtually impassable for anything wider than a Smartcar. And, apparently, no one can afford a cell phone, because nearly every day from 6 am to 2 am there was a cacophony of people leaning on their car horns to indicate to our neighbors to put down their crack pipes, they were there to pick them up.
The other reviewers' complaints about the bums strolling around and vendors honking horns on their carts as they made a slow ten minute walk across the property were right on.
Enjoy the sound of automatic gun fire and the security of constant police helicopter flybys' Then this is definitely the neighborhood for you.

It wasn't all bad. The office staff was very friendly, if unable to do anything about anything. The aforementioned maintenance men were very friendly, kept the grounds nice, and the daily trail of trash was picked up every morning by the cleaning crew, only to be replaced withing hours. You think I am exaggerating. You are thinking, how can those people possibly throw so much garbage around' Surely, they have some shred of personal pride. HAHAHA, FOOLS! Move in and see.
I try very hard to be a progressive, modern, equitable person. This place was making me a racist. I am now recovering in Ahwatukee, where people conduct their business as if other people exist.

WOW. I was laughing the whole time I was reading your review. My husband and I are going to attend college and are moving to the area. Definately not here! I can now see I would never get ANY work done and frankly I would be frightened to be gone all day long!

!!! Seriously! This was almost my exact experience at the apartment complex! The mexican lady with the horn that she would honk and her fruit cart, the screaming children that would throw rocks and trash into our downstairs balcony, disgusting noisy neighbors, and worst of all above me lived an actual crack head that would blast his music so loud that our ceiling would shake and we couldn't even hear our TV when turned up full volume. This place was seriously, 100% GHETTO SCARY and I have never been more glad to move.

We used to live there for a few years but got out when it got so ghetto, then we couldn't wait to move. A lot of --------- were living in one apt w/ their junky cars cluttering up the street and lot once night fell and were gone by early morning. A black man and a lady used to sit in the parking lot in a white chair all the dang time and would stare when you drove up. A friend on the force thought it may be a dealer. People would drink in the lot in packs. My husband's car was broken into once and a friend's as well when they stayed the weekend. Teenage kids were constantly outside smoking, loitering, and running up the stairs w/ no regard to the neighbors. A neighbor who used to live there and got out earlier than I did had their car keyed up. When I left I had a deposit coming to me but when I moved out I left w/ less than half w/ charges up the ying-yang. The leasing lady didn't know I was in the next room and she asked the mngr whether I was mad about the charges before they were given to me. The balance of my deposit check took over a month to come. It used to be a good community until it went to a private owner. I moved out of there and am happily residing at a Mark-Taylor property, which I HIGHLY recommend. MT knows about service!!

I have been living here for about 6 months....and have been trying to get something done about my neighbors since I moved in, which didn't happen til their lease was up. Also, there is a really scary homeless man that lives in the space between the wall of my apartment and the building next to me who sits there and tries to stare in my bedroom window. MY house has been broken into countless times and when I called the office, who is normally really nice, i was told it must be gremlins. Very frustrating and I will be moving the first chance I get!
