form the apartments i have lived in so far Monterey point is the best yet. the biggest highlight is the staff who strive to make life here as good as possible. they go beyond the normal to provide with best in class service as well as to nurture a real community feeling.
Every month the staff sets up a community gathering that is family oriented. they even reached out last Christmas to help a family in need in the community and the whole community got together to provide for gifts and a moth worth of food for a single mother with 2 children.
there a few negitive points to the apartment, parking is one of them. there are assigned spaces however the spaces tend to be inconvenient to your flat but they are covered, there is also unassigned parking for the spaces that are not covered.
crime does not seem to be bad at all, how ever i did recently wake up to find that some one had written with a permanent marker on the windshield of my motorcycle, which was parked in my assigned space. that was the only problem i have had.
pros: 2 pools, great staff, fireplace in each flat, community minded, large apartments, washer dryer in each unit.
cons: parking not so great, no back yard, no community garden
over all: great place to live especially if you have kids
