I really enjoy staying at Monterey Point. Its so much better than my last apartment in Awatukee. The staff here is so much nicer and 10x more helpful. Also, maintenance doesn't take forever to fix a problem. I'd recommend anyone to live here :D

Having lived in Ahwatukee and in this apartment complex I laugh at the plausibility of this post. Anytime a negative review is posted, the office staff from Monterrey Point posts something positive in retaliation. Monterrey Point is located in a terrible part of town while Ahwatukee has virtually ZERO crime. Monterrey Point is by far the worst apartment complex I have ever lived in with an ineffective office staff, disrespectful neighbors, nightly police visits, a large bum problem, is littered with trash daily, and maintenance problems I don't have enough time or energy I care to review. To the office staff: PLEASE STOP SUCKERING PEOPLE WITH YOUR UNBELIEVABLE POSTS! To anyone thinking about renting, I would encourage you to spend some time at night patrolling the area - and do this a few times. You will see what I had to live with for a very long 12 months. Never been happier to NOT live here!

I have to agree about the Police being here nightly... Also, it takes for ever to get anything fixed. Apartments are being rented cheaper to new tenants than existing tenants that have re-newed their lease by at least $100.00 per month. Ask for help from the mgmt team and you get some sad excuse about its the market conditions and when does your lease expire. I cant wait for my lease to be up because I'll be like the Wind - Blowing out of here...

I love how all these positive reviews speak so highly of the office staff. Ironic??? Not considering the office staff is writing these reviews! I agree with 'botsis2001' and 'majicamesa': This area is very unsafe, with police driving by nightly and helicopters flying overhead. Perhaps the office staff doesn't see all this because they're living elsewhere! The office staff is completely worthless and rude! The power bills are expensive because the walls are so poorly insulated. I could go on and on, but I know the office witches will just come back and write another positive review to counterbalance the ACTUAL TENNANT reviews! DON'T LIVE HERE!
