The office staff is obviously writing the positive reviews of this place. Naming the names of the office staff - c'mon.
If I could continue with the naming names though - Kristen is useless. She'll tell you she's "right on it" yet she never follows through and tries to pass you off on the next person. Tiffany also likes to play 'musical leasing agent' and passes you off to someone else. Laina is the only one that's friendly and somewhat helpful.
These are no where near 'luxury apartments.' The surrounding area is a low income housing neighborhood. The gym is a joke.
The pricing of the apartments is all over the place. Some are more expensive because they are on certain levels and some are more because they have been renovated. According to their advertisements, however, they indicate that they are all newly renovated. The floors are faux wood and bathrooms/bedrooms are small.
Utilities are not included either.
This is what an ACCURATE review of these apartments should look like.

Dear Anonymous
My name is Karen, and I have never had any problem at Monterey Point. I have lived here for almost 5 years. And not once have I had a problem or complaint that the ladies(Tiffany, Laina, and Kristen) were not happy and quickly to handle for me. I truly can say I take offense to your review. But everyone has a right to their own opinion. But also FYI....Did you not check out the gym, size of apartment and even the neighborhood...before you signed a lease and moved in? My bad...that is on you. You have a blessed and wonderful day

My name is Tiffany Bennett and I am the Property Manager. I would first like to start off with an apology for your obvious anger toward myself and my staff. I wish that you would have come to me directly with any issues you may have had during your stay with us. I'm sure that we could have reached a positive outcome. Second I do think that it is very juvenille on your part to be posting all these negitive responses on everyone of our residents comments. We strive for and pride ourselves on excellent customer service and take great offense to this harrasment. We have never posted our own comments as if you knew how this site worked it will not allow us to do so. We have a great community with great residents and will continue to serve them with the warmth and greatness that we always have. Thank you and have a wonderful day.

My name is Cathy. My son & I have been writing these reviews that you seem to think the office is writing. We have lived at Monterey Point for a year & I can assure you we do live there & do not not work in the office. We have been treated with uppermost respect & friendliness by Tiffany, Kristen and Laina, And have always rec'd excellent service from Rodney & Frank regarding service requests. If you have had a problem then this is not the correct forum for you to be airing your displeasure. It's too bad you are too unprofessional or scared to identify yourself & allow the staff at Monterey Point to make your experience better. I feel sorry for you that you have to make Monterey Point's ratings go down in order for you to feel better.

Tiffany is not as helpful and responsive as she claims. How unprofessional for her to talk down to a resident on a ratings website. Freedom of speech is a beautiful thing and we have every right to inform those potential residents of our experiences. Salesmen don't usually give you unbiased reviews of their products because they stand to lose $$$$.

My name is Jessica and I lived there for 13 awful months. Shame on you Tiffany for even responding on this website. This is for future residents by former/current residents. You were unprofessional while I lived there and you continue to be unprofessional now. The office staff is more interested in their cigarette breaks than dealing with new residents or resident issues. The office staff DOES write positive reviews on this website and cannot convince me otherwise. Seriously Tiffany, you say "We have never posted our own comments as if you knew how this site worked it will not allow us to do so." Umm...you posted that as Anonymous...anyone else see the problem with that? You clearly can post to this site from an account...in fact ANYONE can post a response here after a free sign up, so you do you think you are fooling? This apartment complex makes me sick. Slumlords. That is all you are. So grateful to have moved. JESSICA

First of all Tiffany, you are not at all receptive to our concerns and neither is your staff as I HAVE contacted you DIRECTLY on several occasions. You give the same automated response every time. That brings me to my post here. Apparently, this is the only way YOUR RESIDENTS can get through to you - by posting reviews of your service. Furthermore, this is hardly harassment when it is not directed at you. This is a site for RENTERS to express their views. FREEDOM OF SPEECH! Calling your residents "juvenile" is very unprofessional of you! Why don't you try actually listening to your residents instead of being so defensive!

Go Renters... Management has no business responding on this website tring to defend their job. Has anyone noticed how many empty apartments their are here at MP? Have you noticed also that the new residents get those 2 bedroom apartments for 677 a month? That's right... It's a shame that there is different levels of pricing. I enjoy staying here at MP, I heard from my neighbor that the office is not giving that pricing to people who wish to renew their leases. If that's true they'll have one more apartment vacant in a couple of months when my lease is up. I understand they want to attract new business to the community, but what about offering incentives to the people who already live here... KEEP THE CUSTOMER... Has anyone thought that TIFFANY is powerless to create change here? Maybe her hands are tied from her supervisor? In a cash-strapped economy, the bottom-line becomes of the upmost importance... With all these apartments empty, I wonder how much longer Tiffany will be the manager? Time will tell... I enjoy the office staff, very helpful, friendly... Although I feel it's not genuine, just a front because they go in the corner and talk about the person once they leave... Frank is Great... Rodney is another story... (Mr. Tattle Tail)... Great with the Kids... Why not make this a gated community? Also, why not have security 24 / 7 or one of the other? Very unsafe, vehicle has been vandelized 3 times... Office staff says, "Oh, so sorry that happened to you!" Why not do something about it? (Security / Gated Community)... Overall - If they would just address the issues and make changes, I think this would be a great place to live...

Also, it is not harrassment to post comments on a site designed for the purpose of providing peer feedback on personal experience in an apartment community, please learn the semantics. And calling your residents juvenile, well that sounds to me like someone doesn't like what she hears because she knows it is true. Shame on you.
