To be fair, the size is great and you wont find another place that big for the price. We had a dog when we moved in, but gave her away later. It took them 4 months to finally take the pet rent off.
I've read through these other reviews and everything is true. There are TONS of cats EVERYWHERE roaming free. They piss and fight and mate on our patios. It's horrible. Some other people wrote about the ants. Also true, also horrible. But what's worse is the cockroaches. I'm pretty ---- when it comes to keeping that place clean and in the 18 months we've been there we've seen at least 30. Saw one crawling around my baby's bottles at 2am once. THey're in the cabinets. It sucks.
If u live downstairs you hear everything! The place isnt sealed well so its pretty much impossible to keep cool in the summer. we keep it at 80 sometimes higher and are careful about electric usage and our last bill was still crazy. While we've been there we got married and had a baby. My mom rented the clubhouse for my shower. Thermostat or heater or whatever was broken so it was FREEZING and we ended up using my apartment anyway. wasted money there.
As far as the pools go they just redid them but more than half the time they lock the gates. the hottubs have never ever been hot, or clean. The neighbors kids run everywhere and they've rubbed tanning lotion all over my car before!!! no one watches their kids they run all over the streets.
Cops are there a lot and its never just one car they almost always have 5 or more. people park in the handicapped spaces and along the fire lanes all the time cause theres not enough parking. the landscaping is nice. but the sprinklers are always broken. try carrying your newborn in without getting her sprayed. fun game' not so much. Oh and now they've decided to redo all of the patios. they let us know they were going to and said they'd give us 2 weeks notice to clear off the patio to avoid a $300 fine, they gave us 3 DAYS notice. our lease was up in april but we had to resign due to circumstances beyond our control. believe me there was plenty of cursing the night we decided we had to do that.
The bottom line is, I was really excited to move in. I thought the place looked great and seemed very nice. I was extremely disappointed very very quickly. I regret it every time I have to go "home". We're moving out when this lease is up come hell or high water.

She's absolutely right. Tennants are now treated like victims of ------. sounds crazy, but I've been here around 10 years due to jobs moving or closing or being sold. Moorings have really been a pain within the last 5 years. MOVE OUT...it's the only way!
