I just thought it would be a good idea to make sure everyone was on the same page.
If you are renting there for the first time, you will get a discounted price on your lease.
You will probably pay somewhere between $600.00-$650.00 per month plus water and tax.
After your initial lease is up and if you currently lease there, you will most likely find your rent has gone up approx.
$70.00-$100.00 per month, once you renew.
Apparently the goal is to get people to initially rent, and then jack up their price afterwards.
So there is no incentive or reward from the rental property for staying there after your initial lease is up.
I know many other rental properties give Leasing discounts, repaint, shampoo carpets, etc, in attempt to keep their renters.
Not at the Moorings.
I'm not sure who makes that decision, whether it is the office managers or IMT Properties.
Just seems to me, you would want to keep the renters you have, not irritate them and force them out.
Call their office and check it out.

Where is it written in the lease that the office has to control who takes something from an ashtray? Give me a break.

I agree on that one. Not the office's issue, that's a parent thing. Stick to the issues the complex has... there are plenty.
