We have had nothing but trouble. They are very old and out dated. They have really bad leaks and mold in ALL the upstairs units. They are very expencive so you'd expect that they are well maintained but they aren't!!!! They just repainted all the outsides of the apartments but that is all they do to maiintain the place PAINT!!! like that does anything worth paying $900 a month for. We have had a leak in our 2nd bedroom for 3 months now and we told the managment the first time we noticed it and we stil haven't heard anything from them about it. We had a leak in our master bathroom that they found before we moved in and it delayed our move in for two weeks and its been two years and it still isnt fixed right, the patch they put in falls off every time it rains and they have been on our roof after every stome and it still leaks. They dont replace anything they just tell you they cant find anything wrong with it and if you want a new one you can replace it yourself. I hate living here and as soon as our lease it up we are moving as far away from this horrable place as we can.

I agree with this post! Do not move to the Moorings. What had originally drawn me to the complex was the pine trees it was shady and felt like Flagstaff! They cut a huge amount of trees down one in particular that shaded my apartment and provided privacy! Huge disappointment! Then they screwed me in more ways than one. As far as damage/repair goes. The list goes on. I had drawers that were broken previous to move in that were duc-taped. so when I opened the drawer it fell apart and I was charged for the repair because the lady rushed me thru my walk thru and it was not noted then... Scandelous!! It had rained one week and soon there became a moldy smell in my closet and when I asked them to come look they denied a leak. After a few days my roof was leaking water and I had a huge yellow stain on my roof from water damage and they did nothing to repair it but paint! I was charged for unrealistic cleaning fees upon departure. Hundreds of dollars cleaning fee after I had my carpets steam cleaned and spent 2 days cleaning and scrubbing the apartment. What ever happen to natural wear and tear! I left the apartment in good order there was no doubt! I was suspicious and heard other rumors they like to leave you with a huge move out bill so I took caution and took pics! Ready for court when they are! They messed up on my contract.. apologized to me, but said they still had to charge me for the addition months rent. So read your contract carefully those very uneducated women who run the front office try to scam you for any money they can get! Parking was a mess! I had to walk so far from my apartment. I had several incidents where fights broke out, the police were looking for suspects in the helicopter and I even had a shoot out! Ghetto! So having kids and walking far everynight was scary!
