This is the most horrible place I've ever rented.
The police show up about once a week. I saw a man chase a pregnant woman thru the parking lot while having a screaming match with her. All the kids are completely unsupervised and running all over the place and in front of traffic. The "gated" community is gated - but the gates are never closed (and I mean have never once been closed the entire time I lived there, obviously intentionally left open). They say the do not allow large dogs but there are a lot of them running around, Many more than could be grandfathered in. I happen to be a dog lover, but there are no rules here. In fact, I saw a young boy (about 10-12) walking a large dog, with no control over the dog and he bit a man on the leg right in front of our apartment.
There are hoodlums all over the place. These kids (and adults!) stand around in groups in the parking lot and stare at you while you drive by, probably deciding if they want to steal your rims or something. Drug deals, fights, yelling, break dancing in the parking lot, loud music almost constantly - just to name a few.
It's very loud all the time. Between people yelling, dogs barking and alarms going off, it's almost never peaceful. The apartments have tile floor, which is nice, unless you live on the bottom floor. There is no sound barrier at all, so every small step is heard.
It's really too bad because you would never know how horrible it is during the day. It seems to be well kept up but it is not. I feel sorry for the maintenance staff and the lawn care people (as there are large piles of dog mess in the grass most of the time). There are 4, or so, nice play areas for the kids, who are unsupervised most of the time.
We had a plumbing issue when we first got there which was fixed, however the place was a disaster when the man left. There were foot prints all over and sheet rock all over the floor. We had to change our locks because the plumber didn't return the key.
I will say that the office staff are great - Super friendly and happy to work with you to resolve problems. I don't think this is a good place to rent and I certainly wouldn't live there again or recommend it to anyone. Please do yourself a favor and stay away, unless you want to deal with problems similar to the ones I had.

Very accurate. The only thing I disagree with is management. Their complete lack of follow through allowed this "community" aka "the projects of East Mesa" to become what it has (everything you stated and then some). Good review. I wish there was some recourse the good residents could take against Trinity Management.
