I have lived close to two years at Saratoga Apartments and I am planning to move to Houston Texas. Overall I would not recommend living here on long term basis. The unit I lived in was a cramped studio. The kitchen is pathetic - two hot plates(not a real oven or stove), a little under the counter refrigerator, and a microwave that takes for ever to heat anyting up. The microwave looks like the ones built back in the 70's. The bathroom has a cramped standup shower. No bath tub here. However, I knew about all this when moving in so I should not complain. My big beef with this apartment complex is that the walls are paper thin. You can actually hear people carry on a normal conversations in the apartment next door and in the outside area. There is plenty of parking but no covered parking, which can be an issue during the summer. They have a security guard that does actually a good job of patrolling the area. I guess before they had the security officer this apartment complex was notorious for car break-ins.
Here is the plus side to this apartment complex. You do not have to sign a long term contract with these guys. You can do a month to month right form the beginning. This is great for anybody that needs a temporary place to stay. As a result you see alot of people come and go. Also all utilities are included so you can live fairly cheap.
Overall, I would not recommend this dump on a long term basis, only short term. I am suprised I lived there as long as I did
