I have lived in this apartment for a year and I was under the ideal that it would be a great way to save some money. It is not worth it because you end up hating life in this prison cell. I noticed some reviews saying that this was a good apartment for going to ASU. I have to disagree. First there is 50 apartments that are closer to ASU. The reality is I have never seen a student here. Most people that are here are alcholics or people living on social security. Also, there is all kinds of shady people that come and go out of this place. You have to be really careful. Here are the realities about this dump. The walls are paper thin. Yesterday, I actually heard a person coughing as he was walking past my door as if he was coughing right there in front of me. It is not uncommon to hear the conversation of the neighbors next door. The rent is $559/month for a 12 month lease. $659/month for month to month, and they are talking about jacking up the price again. Oh, this is their studio apartment. While, I am on the subject I will give you the dimensions of the apartment. I actually pulled out a tape measurer for this. The total dimensions are 22.5' by 12.5', and the so called bedroom dimensions are 14.5' by 12.5'. For those not quick with math the total square footage if 281sqft, and the bedroom is 181sqft. I have looked all over the internet and I have never found a web page that disclouses the square footage of their apartment even on their own home page. There is free utilities but here is the kicker. Since the walls are paper thin the room never really gets cool during the summer time. Also, there were a few times the power in the whole entire apartment complex kicked off and the apartment managment seemed to care less. While, I am at it I have lived in several apartments, and these apartment managers are some of the rudest I have ever dealt with. They act as if you are living in these apartments you must be a destitute so they treat you as such. I would have to give safety low marks to because even though they have a full time security guard that supposedly makes his rounds I sill have had my car vandalized three times since being here. Again, if you bring it to the apartment managements attention it is like talking to a brick wall. I actually talked to a tenant in here that had his truck stolen out of here. Also, since I work the night shift, when I come home I see every night shady people just hanging out in the parking lot. They keep the grounds decent but that comes with a price to. Every morning around 7am the ground crews comes in here with their two stoke leaf blowers and lawn mowers and wake every one up. I guess that is the apartments way of giving everyone their wake up call. I found this out the hard way. If you want cable TV forget it. They don't offer it. You have to go through their so called vendor of choice called Consolidated One. They only offer Direct TV packages with a one year contract. I can't wait to get out of this hell hole. In no way, shape, or fashion is this place worth it. There are definately better places out there. If you are foolish enough to move here you will get the feeling quickly that you have hit rock bottom.
