I have spoken with several tenants of Sienna at Riverview. I have heard both positive and negative things about the facilities. Unfortunately I have heard more negative things than positive. Most of the negative comments have been about management personnel. I have had a personal negative experience dealing with the managemnt so my opinion may be slightly biased, but I have tried not to let that influence what I am writing here today. If I had been the only person to experience this certain type of undesirable treatment from this management I may have kept my mouth shut and gone about my business. But after hearing several stories about incidents that have occured at Sienna I have decided to share a couple of them. We will start with managements problem on finding the exact source of a noise complaint. A few individuals have expressed their anger about being accused of either throwing a party or just being too loud, even when management was given proof that the occupants of an apartment weren't even in town. Some occupants have said that after a tremendous amount of aggravation complaints or write ups had been dropped by management, but some have said they just gave up arguing with them. I have also heard stories of Cashiers Checks being used to pay rent that management has denied recieving. I do fault the tenants on this issue for not obtainging a receipt, but when I have heard this story from a few people that live there it is a little disturbing. I have also heard of several vehicles being stolen or broken into. Although management has little control over this, and they do provide adequate security it is still a problem. The thing that frustrates most tenants I talked to that were a victim of theft was the lack of response from management.
The construction, landscaping, and the overall quality of this complex are its strongest features. While Management appears to be its weakest. This is not to say that everyone in management is doing a poor or inadequate job, but there are some major problems with certain procedures in which this management company follows. There are one or two individuals that are difficult to deal with, but there are some sincere individuals who work for the management company.
I guess the bottom line is if you do rent here and you don't encounter any of the unfortunate incidents that some tenants have then This would be a "Good" place to live. But there is definitely a possibility that you could be mistreated as a resident at this fascility.
My overrall recomendation would be not to rent at Sienna.
