I am relocating to the area from Texas. I have faith in this site and its tenants. Who knows better than people who lease at the different complexes. I will NOT be looking here. Thank you to all who posted comments and warnings. Very scary and sad situation happening it seems. I wish you all luck in being able to fight for your rights. Hopefully the property owner will do something. The leasing staff should be professional and the back bone of a community. Look like somebody dropped the ball in this area :(

It's good to see that people are not renting here because of this website. However, for the people, like myself, who are already living here... We must get some results! I found out from a source that we may have new owners (listed below). I have sent them an email and would encourage other that live here to do the same or write or call them.

This is the same firm which owned the complex when I moved out in mid-2001. The *original* owner, builder, and manager was Fairfield Properties. About a year and a half after opening, Fairfield sold their ownership and the management switched over to D.M. Smith. I contested the unwarranted move out expenses directly with D.M. Smith LLC, because that is where the bill they sent me originated. I strongly suspect from my dealing with them that D.M. Smith LLC is completely happy and in agreement with the piss-poor and unethical practices that local manager D.J. has been providing.
