My husband and I moved in July 2006. When we moved in, the staff was sweet and the management was strict in a good way. We could hardly hear a peep in the hallway, security was always seen on the property for any needs, and the property was always kept beautiful. However, all of this has changed. New management took over in the spring and I have had nothing but aggravation. In one month alone, we had 10 different cars park in our parking spot and when we approached the staff they gave us the excuse that maybe they assigned our spot to someone else. Someone else owns ten cars' Nothing was done. Our hallway is almost weekly full of garbage. People have started to leave garbage bags in the hallway and because the new management is painting everything, trash is always left out and I find myself picking it up for them. Lastly, I was up at 3am one night and someone actually opened our front door lock! Someone had a key to our apartment and thank goodness we double locked it and no one could get in. We called the Mesa Police Department and they sent someone to check out the property because when we called the apartment security, they didn't want to be bothered! My husband approached the staff to have our lock changed and they took 5 hours to get back to us because they couldn't get a hold of their maintenance man. They then told us to call our own locksmith and we had to argue with them to have them pay for the new lock!! I am not the type to complain, but since this near break in and the lack of attention to the situation by management, I feel future residents or apartment finders should know this information. The actually apartment units are beautiful as well as the overall apartment grounds, but my complaint unfortunately is with the ethics of the new management and lack of attention to our needs. It's sad to see what was once a great place to live, now leaves a bad taste in our mouths as we are getting ready to move.

I concur completely. This is one of the best located, nicest properties out there- but the new management is unsympathetic, uncaring and almost aggressively hostile towards the needs of the tenants. And yes, it's been messier, nosier and scarier since they took over.
